Dr. Clark Store has always been focused on manufacturing and selling the purest possible supplements. We are truly the leaders in purity as can be demonstrated by the fact that we have never used HPMC capsules over the duration of the 31 years we have been in business. It turns out that most HPMC capsules manufactured over the last 30 years contain carrageenan, it isn’t until 2022 that HPMC capsules started to be made without surfactants and carrageenan.
While most brands manufacture with contract manufacture and have limited insights into their productions, and worse push endlessly for the very lowest price from their contract manufacturers, Dr. Clark Store is actively involved in manufacturing its own products. We follow a strict manufacturing protocol handed to us by Dr. Hulda Clark herself, that includes avoiding magnesium stearate, carrageenan, surfactants and other fillers.
While FDA allows the use of processing aids without mentioning them on the label, Dr. Clark Store guarantees that no processing aids are used. We only use rice flour on occasion and in that case list that on the label. Further we source elementally pure raw materials, in other words we make sure our suppliers have not added questionable chemicals into the raw materials. Of course, all our raw materials are duly tested prior to use in our supplements. We test our raw materials not only for micro, heavy metals, and potency, per GMP protocols, but also for identity. ID checks on botanicals is important because over 30% of herbs are adulterated. We use HPTLC to identify from what species and what plant part the botanicals come from. In addition we detect if the powder has been boosted by inexpensive ingredients such as rutin or buckwheat.
Unfortunately, per FDA importers of raw materials are not required to test the raw materials before selling them in bulk. This is why its so important that the manufacturer test the ingredients thoroughly.
